Exploring The Eule Planner: Project/Daily Tracking

We get a lot positive feedback about the Eule Planner’s Projects / Daily Tracking pages. And we agree wholeheartedly - they’re a highly practical, flexible and visual way to look at a whole year, right down to a daily level.

You can use these pages to keep plan projects or track habits - or a custom combo of both. The layout is reminiscent of those horizontal wall planners you sometimes see in offices. Except this a more beautiful and compact version - the entire year is spread over just four pages!

What’s in the Projects/Daily Tracking pages?

  • There are two double page spreads in total: the first for January-June, then the second for August-December.

  • Each month gets its own table. It runs horizontally across the double pages, with a narrow column for each day/date.

  • Each month also contains five rows, so you track up to five projects and/or habits.

Plan, track… or both!

Business or personal, planning or tracking - you can customise these pages to suit you. And since each month gets it own separate space, you can experiment and switch things up from month to month.

However you decide to use these pages - we heartily recommend blocking out some downtime throughout the year as a first step!

Ideas for Projects:

  • Client projects - If you do a lot of client-facing work, such as website builds or teaching, you can schedule in projects and be able to see your capacity at a glance.

  • Deep work - Plan ahead and block out space to dive into special projects, client-free weeks, or content creation weeks for your business.

  • Home improvements - In the midst of a renovation? This is a nifty place to keep track of timelines and contractor schedules.

Ideas for Daily Tracking:

  • Habits - Choose up to five habits a month to work on: one per line. Checking off those little boxes each time you complete your task is oh so satisfying!

  • Health stats - Jot down your daily walk or run mileage, or fruit and veggie servings consumed, or the number of seconds you held your daily plank.

  • Other numbers - Anything goes! You could track your daily mood on a 1-10 scale. Or if you’re a weather nerd, you could chart the local daily temperature.

Make it your own

How you fill in those squares is up to you. Here are some methods we’ve tried:

  • Ticks and crosses - the quick and good old-fashioned way to log if you’ve hit or missed your targets.

  • Color in the squares - with careful color selection, this can make a really pretty grid once the month is done.

  • Draw your own shapes - and color them in, as seen in Kerstin’s planner below

  • Tiny dot stickers - if you’re a sticker fan, it’s a great way to make a dent in your stash!
