A Website in 3 Days

These are the typical pages that most professional websites have, and five pages is often all you need. We can adapt the use of these pages and also rename them to fit your requirements.

The deposit is refundable as follows: Up to 21 days before project start 75% refund. Up to 7 days before project start 50% refund. No refund within 7 days of a project. Once the project has started the full amount of $3,500 is due on day three and not refundable. You can and should contact me at any time if you have any concerns before or during the project.

A 50% deposit is required upon signing the contract, the balance is due at the end of Day Three.

All prices are in US Dollars. I accept credit cards, but to avoid the steep credit card fees, I prefer checks‍ or ‍online bank transfers (easy option on my invoice).

The success of your project depends on both our commitment to the timeline. However, I understand that sometimes life happens. If you cannot make our time slot due to illness or an emergency, I’ll be happy to reschedule your project.

I use AI for organizing and brainstorming in my business. Occasionally I get coding help from AI.

All client designs are my own, within the capabilities of Squarespace. As part of the content creation process, you will be asked to please not use AI for your questionnaire answers. Authenticity is important for search optimization, and also for establishing yourself as an expert or authority in your field.

I use my own skills and experience to make sure your content sounds and looks great, reflecting your uniqueness and goals.

While I have many concerns about AI, I understand that it is here to stay. I use it myself, mostly to help me organize, brainstorm, or do some coding. Here is my take on AI and design:

Good design is how it looks and how it works. There are many moving parts to a website, not just the visual, but also: where is it hosted, how do you connect the domain and email, how do you optimize for marketing and SEO, how do you integrate 3rd party software? A professional designer is like a conductor who knows how to make all the pieces work together beautifully.

AI is a machine. To get good results with it, you have to know what you need, what you want, and how to ask for it. You have to be extremely specific, and even then, the output is often generic because AI is unable to read nuance or use intuition.

The kind of clients I work with are passionate about their business, but don’t have the time or inclination to deal with the complexities of a website, and that includes not wanting to use AI, either. They prefer to work with a human who will listen and translate their vision into an attractive and functional website.

You do need to be experienced to pull this off! I’ve been designing websites on Squarespace for many years. I not only have the skills, but my neurodivergent brain also genuinely loves working with a defined timeline.

I only design websites on Squarespace and you will need to subscribe to one of their website plans (you will get 25% off your first year). Other expenses may include a subscription to a website policy generator or an email marketing platform if you want to have a newsletter.

If you live in Washington State, sales tax also applies.

We will go through this during our consultation call so that you have a full picture of your costs.
