In 2026, Squarespace increased its prices for website hosting, commerce, and more. Squarespace is a great all-in-one platform for solopreneurs, service providers, and small businesses. It has a tiered pricing approach and one of the biggest difference is transaction fees for commerce or digital product sales, so be sure to check out the plan details.
The new pricing is as follows:
Basic: $228 annually > $19 per month
Core: $348 annually > $29 per month
Plus: $588 annually > $49 per month
Advanced: $1,188 annually > $99 per month
While price increases are never welcome, they remind us that there is a cost to doing business; you will always have to spend money to make money. I prefer to look at it as an investment so I can offer awesome products and great service to my customers, which in turn helps my business prosper.
I am happy to invest my money in Squarespace because it’s the hub of my business where my core activities happen. I use the following Squarespace products:
Hosting for my website
Campaigns for email marketing
Content & Memberships for my online courses
Scheduling for my Ask-Me-Anything sessions
Analytics for my data
The cost of all of this is less than 1% of my annual turnover, which is pretty amazing. Even in my first year of business, when I made just over $20K, this was only 6%, which is still very reasonable for something that provides essential infrastructure for my business.
