Exploring The Eule Planner: Year At A Glance
Written by Shauna Reid.
The first spread in the Eule Planner is the Year At A Glance.
It’s a handy pair of pages that we can flip back to over and over throughout the year. You might think of it as Mission Control, the Mothership, or simply a “when is that thing happening again?” memory jogger.
January - June are on the left page, and July - December are on the right. Each page is split into three columns, with space to write your own heading for each one.
I think the latter is one of Kerstin’s most delightful Eule design features, because you get to choose what’s important to you and your year.
Your Year, Your Way
Try using this spread to plan ahead, log things that happened, or rock a combination of the two. Here are some ideas:
Business
Upcoming projects
Key deadlines
Marketing campaign plans
Training and development plans
Admin and accounting deadlines
Personal
Birthdays and anniversaries
Travel plans
Book / film / television log
Home project plans
Favorite moments of the month
A flexible space
At the start of the year I decided on these categories for my January - June page:
Travel Plans
TV Shows
Garden
It’s kept my nerdy heart happy to track my viewing in the Telly Watched column. The Garden column has morphed into both a To Do and a Done list for green-thumbed pursuits.
As for the Travel column? All plans are obviously out the window for the foreseeable. But the good thing about the Eule Planner is that July is just around the corner, and I’ll have a fresh new page to play with!
How are you using the Year At A Glance pages?
