Squarespace Classroom MS
Launch a beautiful eCourse with Squarespace and MemberSpace
Ever wondered if you can host an eCourse on Squarespace?
Yes, you can!
I’ve been hosting eCourses on my own Squarespace website since 2016 and I love it! And so do my students! There are two options for how to do this:
You can use Squarespace’s built-in page password to protect your content. This means one password for everyone and is the safest and most cost effective method which I teach in another course.

Not all course creators want to have the same password for everyone, in this case you will love MemberSpace where your customers create a user account and choose their own password.
Read on if this is what you want.
Why you will love MemberSpace:
User Accounts & Individual Passwords
Your participants can create an account with their own unique password. Many course creators feel that this is more secure than using the same password for everyone.
If you ever have a problem with a participant you can easily disable their access.
MemberSpace offers three levels of content protection.
MemberSpace manages lost passwords automatically.
You can monitor page access activity per student.
Credit Card payments through Stripe
Accept credit card payments which are processed through Stripe. PayPal is currently not possible with MemberSpace.
You can’t beat the MemberSpace support team! You can chat with them online or even call them. They are awesome!
Why you will love Squarespace:
Stylish & Beautiful
Create a visually stunning classroom by taking full advantage advantage of Squarespace’s gorgeous and intuitive styling options.
Use summary and archive blocks as well as other content features to organize your content in a way that feels well structured and easy to navigate.
Because you are hosting your course on your own website you will be using your existing fonts, colors and design, thus creating important brand consistency.
No need to learn a new system to design your course, you already know Squarespace & your website!
Both you and your students only need to know one place for your course: your website. You don’t need to log into another platform to update your course and your students can access everything to do with you and your services in one convenient place.
How does it work?
Build your course in Squarespace
We are using a blog to build out your eCourse on your Squarespace website. In Classroom MS you are shown how to customize your blog for eCourses.
Sign up with MemberSpace
I take you through the sign-up process and show you in easy step-by-step tutorials how to set yourself up and connect Squarespace to MemberSpace.
Add your eCourse to MemberSpace
In Classroom MS you learn how to hide all your course pages and content (e.g. videos, PDF’s, audio etc) behind the MemberSpace paywall to keep it secure.
When your customers buy your course they create a user account with a unique password that they use to log into your course. You can set up recurrent membership fees or one-time payments.
We use Squarespace version 7.0 in this class, see also FAQ.
Here we look at the best templates to use, what type of course you want to offer, plus a handy checklist!
